In the Nigerian currency, this figure is equivalent to N350m. In 2019, Teni penned a multimillion naira endorsement deal with Budweiser Beer. This added to the spike in her income.

On the 12th of July, 2019, she penned an endorsement deal which would be in millions of naira with Wema Bank Nigeria. Just before the Wema Bank Nigeria endorsement deal came rolling in, she penned an endorsement deal with popular Nigerian candy and soothing mentol TomTom which was in millions of naira.

She signed other endorsement deals worth several millions of naira with Pepsi Nigeria, and Tecno Mobile. Teniola also earns from musical collaborations, and has collaborated with quite a number of reputable Nigerian musicians.

Teni was born Teniola Apata on the 23rd of December, 1992. She’s the 9th of ten children in the family, and she’s the younger sister to famous Nigerian musician Niniola.

Teniola hails from Ekiti State, Nigeria. Her parents are known as Mr. & Mrs. Apata. Her father was a retired Brigadier General in the Nigerian armed force.

In 1995, he was assassinated and Teni was just two years of age at that time. She schooled at Apata Memorial High School, and further studied Business Administration at the American Inter-Continental University where she bagged a degree in the course.

She also studied at the University of Georgie in the US. After she was done with University studies, she went deep into her music and had her musical influence to an high extent to be the Fuji king Wasiu Ayinde.

Music has always been her thing from the time she was little. Staying indoors and singing with her siblings whenever they weren’t allowed to go out of the house and play outside was one of the activities that heightened her love for music. She has the understanding that music is really a spiritual activity and sound.

Hence, she does her best to make sure her music has an impact on the minds of those listening. During her school days, she was activity involved in playing drums for her school music band, and this also played a role in building her music ears. In a chat with her, she revealed that she loved playing basketball, and it she hadn’t ventured into music, the next would’ve been basketball.

With the release of hit singles Case, Askamaya, and Uyo Meya, Teni rose to fame and became a top artiste to look out for in the year 2018. In the same year, her song Askamaya rose to spot #15 on MTV Base’s Top 20 Hottest Naija Tracks of 2018.

Just within a short period, she won the Best New Artist at the 2018 Soundcity MVP Awards Festival, Most Promising Act to Watch at the 2018 Nigeria Entertainment Awards, Rookie of the Year at the 2018 Headies Awards, and was ranked #8 on NotJuskOk’s list of 10 Hottest Artists In Nigeria.

In the same way, she got on Premium Times newspaper’s Six Nigerian Breakout Stars, Viral Sensations of 2018. On the 20th of Febuary, 2019, she appeared on the Trending Artist on the Rise by YouTube Music, and released her Sugar Mummy Video in the 3rd of May, 2019.

On the 14th of June, 2019, Teni released yet another hit single, Power Rangers. Before her walk to fame, she helped a number of music stars write songs. And one of these music stars include Nigerian music star Davido.

Teni’s songs are mostly meaningful, and for this, they don’t just go unnoticed. She has released a number of hit songs after the release of Uyo Meya.

Her songs are currently on the trend and are quote better than the usually mainstream music. Same goes to her music videos which are ingrained with clear and catchy visuals, and produced by talented director Paul Gambit.

Not very much the showy type. Teni has earned a lot of money to purchase some of the most expensive vehicles you see being cruised around in your town. She doesn’t post pictures of her four-wheel babies, and she has quite a number of very flashy vehicles.

Teni is a loving personality. She’s not the type you can easily walk on or step on though, she’s had a log of hardship in her life and this has made her a bit hard and resistant to certain challenges.
