He obtained primary school education at St. Leo’s Catholic Primary School in Lagos state, and furthered his education at primary level at the Olashore International School in Osun state, Nigeria.

After his secondary schooling, he travelled to the United Kingdom where he studied Law at the University of Reading.

After getting done with studying Law at the University of Reading, UK, he moved to his country Nigeria where he attended Law School.

In the end of the study at Law School in Nigeria, he got called to bar in February 2012.

Folarin Falana grew interest in music when he was still in secondary school.

He formed a music group named “The School Boys” alongside one of his friends who wrote rap lyrics.

In 2009, Falz made a move to get his name known as he released a combo of his works in a Mixtape.

After the Mixtape was set, he dropped five more singles, and released another Mixtape titled “Shakara”.

In 2011, he released “Waz Up Guy”, other singles like “Currency” supported the song and gave Falz a little attention in the music industry.

Falz released an hit single titled “Hello Bae” on the 31st of January in 2015.

The song was a huge success, and it earned Falz a nomination under the Best Street Hop Artiste of The Yearโ€ category at the 2015 edition of The Headies Awards.

On the 17th of November 2015, Falz released a second studio album titled “Stories that Touch”.

He increasingly became famous in 2016 and the year that followed he not only earned nominations, but won several awards, and worked with a lot of big names in the Nigerian music industry.
